Dayblaster — a free browser start page with shortcuts, news, markets and widgets
Dayblaster is a free browser start page for people who want shortcuts, live news, markets, and productivity widgets on their first tab, in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, or Opera, with an optional one time $10 Pro upgrade and no subscription.
What Dayblaster is
Dayblaster is a free browser start page. Open https://www.dayblaster.com/ and you get grouped shortcuts, a live news ticker, a markets ticker, and addable productivity widgets instead of an empty search box. You can set that URL as your homepage or startup page in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, or Opera. If you want the same page on every Chrome new tab, a free extension on the Chrome Web Store opens Dayblaster. The extension in this product only declares a new-tab override.
It is for people who open a browser to start work, not to stare at a search field. The default layout has a Work zone, a Fun zone, an AI Tools row, and a Google apps row. You can add, edit, remove, and drag shortcuts. Widgets you can add include Notes, To Do List, Calculator, Calendar, Currency Converter, Clock, Weather, Timer, Alarm, Countdown, Pomodoro, and Custom Text. The free plan allows up to 7 widgets in the dock. No account is required. Without an account, customizations stay in this browser. A free optional account stores your email and page settings so the page can sync across devices. Signed-in users can restore from cloud version history. Anyone can download or restore a local backup file.
An optional Dayblaster Pro upgrade costs $10 one time. It is not a subscription. Pro raises the widget limit to 14, includes Pro scene backgrounds, and unlocks Personal, Work, and Chill page profiles. Payments go through Paddle. There is a 14-day refund policy.
If you want a ready-made shortcut layout instead of building one, open the setup kits page. The four kits in the product are Developer, Content Creator, Student, and Trader. Importing a kit replaces shortcuts only. Widgets, tasks, and background stay, and the previous layout is snapshotted.
