How to replace your Google homepage
Google's homepage is an empty box waiting for you to work for it. Here's how to open your browser onto a page that already works for you — takes under a minute in any browser.
Chrome
- Open Settings (⋮ menu → Settings).
- Go to Appearance → turn on Show home button → choose the custom address field and enter
https://www.dayblaster.com. - Go to On startup → choose Open a specific page or set of pages → Add a new page → enter the same address.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Settings (… menu → Settings).
- Go to Start, home, and new tabs.
- Under When Edge starts, choose Open these pages → add
https://www.dayblaster.com. - Under Home button, enable it and set the same address.
Firefox
- Open Settings (≡ menu → Settings).
- Go to Home.
- Next to Homepage and new windows, choose Custom URLs → enter
https://www.dayblaster.com.
Tip: the new-tab page in Chrome and Edge can only be changed with an extension — the Dayblaster
new-tab extension is on its way. Until then, the home button and startup page get you 90% of the way.
Why bother?
Because the first tab of your day sets its pace. Dayblaster loads your shortcuts, AI tools, live news headlines, market tickers and widgets instantly — free, no account, nothing to configure.
