What is Dayblaster?
Dayblaster is a free browser start page that replaces your empty Google homepage with your shortcuts, live news and markets trackers, and productivity widgets — all in one tab, with zero setup.
Is Dayblaster free?
Yes. Free to use. An optional one time upgrade removes ads. There is no subscription.
Do I need an account?
No. Dayblaster works instantly with no signup. Your customizations are saved locally in your browser.
How do I make Dayblaster my homepage?

Is Dayblaster a good Momentum alternative?

What happens to my data?
Your shortcuts, widgets and preferences live in your own browser (localStorage). No account required, no personal data sold. Delete your browser data and it's gone — it's yours.
What does Dayblaster Pro cost, and is it a subscription?
Dayblaster Pro is a one time purchase of $10. The site pricing page states it is not a subscription. Free includes custom shortcut zones, live news and markets trackers, up to 7 productivity widgets, weather, clock, search, light, dark and soft color backgrounds, and an optional free account with cloud sync. Pro adds no ad banners, up to 14 widgets, exclusive Pro gradient backgrounds, and multiple page profiles named Personal, Work, and Chill. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. How do refunds work?
The refund policy covers Dayblaster Pro. If it is not what you expected, request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date. Email service@dayblaster.com from the address you purchased with, or reply to your payment receipt. Refunds are issued to the original payment method by the payment provider. After a refund, Pro features are deactivated and the free page keeps working. Details are on the refund policy page.
How is my data stored, and how does sync work?
Without an account, shortcuts, widgets, background and preferences are saved in your own browser using localStorage. They are not sent to Dayblaster servers. Clearing browser data deletes them. With a free account, Dayblaster stores your email address and a copy of your page settings so the page can back up and sync across devices. Sign-in is by email link or Google. The product facts page states account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Signed-in users can restore from cloud version history. The account panel says the last 30 saved versions are kept. Anyone can download a local backup file from settings and restore it later. Dayblaster states it does not sell personal data. See privacy and facts.
Do I need the Chrome extension?
No. The website works as a homepage or startup page in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, and Opera. The site guide states that Chrome and Edge lock the new-tab page, so only an extension can replace it. The Dayblaster Chrome extension is on the Chrome Web Store. The extension in this product declares a new-tab override that opens https://www.dayblaster.com/. The published manifest does not list extra host permissions. You can use the site without installing anything.
What ships on the page besides shortcuts?
Shortcut zones are My Work Zone, My Fun Zone, AI Tools, and a Google apps row. The default AI Tools shortcuts in the product code are ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Midjourney, Manus, Grok, Suno, DeepSeek, and Higgsfield. All shortcuts are editable. The news ticker fetches headlines from Google News RSS. The markets ticker includes S&P 500, NASDAQ Composite, Dow Jones, Nikkei 225, FTSE 100, CAC 40, DAX, SSE Composite, and Euronext 100, plus a local index by country and currency rates. How do I get help or recover a layout?
Contact is service@dayblaster.com. Terms state the site is operated from Israel. If you signed in, open the account menu and use Restore an earlier version.
