Where they differ
Start Page HQ is a widget dashboard you assemble. The official FAQ lists 63 widget types, multiple pages, cloud sync and paid plans that unlock unlimited pages, all widgets, uploads and refillable AI credits. A live demo can be tried without signup.
Dayblaster ships one opinionated start page: shortcut zones, news and markets are already there. Widget choice is smaller. There is no subscription; Pro is a one time $10 purchase that removes ads and raises the widget cap.
Choose Start Page HQ if
You want many widget types (feeds, kanban, developer tools, AI widgets, TradingView charts) and you are willing to sign up and, if you outgrow the free caps, pay a monthly, yearly or lifetime plan.
Choose Dayblaster if
You want a simpler page that already includes shortcuts, headlines and indices, you prefer not to subscribe, and a one time $10 option is enough if you want to remove ads.
